6. Pain Relief Medication

If you have pain in your feet, you could use pain relief medication such as NSAIDs, for example, ibuprofen. This medication should only be used when pain is unbearable because using medication doesn’t get rid of the problem. Medication should also be used with all the other remedies that have been discussed here.

7. Injected Medications

Corticosteroids are a common source of relief for flat foot pain, but should only be an option for those people that are experiencing a lot of pain that even oral pain relief medication is unable to relieve.

Corticosteroids offer good relief from pain and can also reduce inflammation on the feet. They do not present a permanent solution and can be very addictive. It is important therefore that they are used sparingly.
